Fleet Manager

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced, highly organized Fleet Manager to oversee our vehicles and equipment, coordinate maintenance, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented with a strong grasp of mechanical systems, able to manage paperwork efficiently, and lead the team by example while providing clear direction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily fleet operations, including scheduling, maintenance, and repairs
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including inspection logs, maintenance schedules, and compliance documents
  • Coordinate with mechanics and vendors to ensure timely, cost-effective repairs
  • Monitor fleet performance and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
  • Provide leadership and training to drivers, mechanics, and support staff
  • Lead by example while offering clear direction and constructive feedback

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in fleet management or a related field
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Solid understanding of vehicle mechanics and maintenance practices
  • Excellent leadership and communication abilities
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in fleet management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred, but not required)
