Position Overview:
We are a growing construction company committed to safety, organization, and operational excellence. We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our operations by managing inventory, company assets, fleet compliance, and administrative data. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying organized, solving problems, and helping keep a busy operation running smoothly.
The Administrative Assistant will play a vital role in maintaining accurate records for company assets, inventory, and fleet vehicles while supporting day-to-day administrative functions. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage company inventory and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Track and assign company assets, including tools, equipment, electronics, and other property.
- Maintain fleet records, including vehicle registrations, insurance, inspections, maintenance schedules, and DOT compliance documentation.
- Monitor expiration dates and proactively schedule required inspections and maintenance to ensure compliance.
- Enter and maintain accurate data in company software and spreadsheets.
- Prepare reports and assist management with tracking inventory and fleet metrics.
- Coordinate vehicle repairs, maintenance appointments, and vendor communications.
- Assist with purchasing office and operational supplies.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems.
- Support daily administrative tasks and provide assistance to the operations team as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree preferred).
- Previous administrative or office experience preferred.
- Experience with inventory, fleet management, construction, or logistics is a plus.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with data entry and database management.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
- Professional communication and customer service skills.

Compensation
$16-$18 per hour
